Industry Research
Independent research for the community association management industry
Peak Executive Academy is a nonprofit. We run research projects built to move the whole industry forward, and to be used far beyond our own peer groups.
Independent
No vendor is paying for the outcome. As a nonprofit, our only goal is data the industry can actually rely on.
Anonymous
Participation is confidential. We aggregate submissions so no single company can be identified in the results.
Industry-Wide
We build these projects to be shared openly and used by boards, operators, and partners well beyond our groups.
Featured Project
CAPI: The Community Association Price Index
CAPI is the first anonymous, nationwide pricing benchmark built by and for management companies. We gather real Schedule A data from firms across the country and publish what the industry is actually charging for late fees, violation letters, transfer fees, and more.
- Benchmark your pricing against real national averages instead of guessing.
- Communicate your value to boards with independent data behind you.
- Anchor your pricing, whether you sit above, below, or right at the average.
CAPI 2026

No. Participation is open to any community association management company. The broader the participation, the more useful the results.
Does it cost anything?
No. These projects are part of our nonprofit mission. Taking part is free, and so is the resulting research.
How is the data used?
We combine submissions into an aggregated report and share it as an industry resource for owners, boards, and partners to reference.
